I am so glad you stopped by. In April of 2016, my husband and I purchased a 1930's, 920 square foot house in the historic district of Folsom, California. We have begun putting our own stamp on this place. I hope you will enjoy checking in often and following our progress as we renovate, decorate and transform our small city house into home.
My name is Tahni. I have been married to John for 29 years. Together we have two daughters, a son, a son in-law, a daughter in-law and three grandchildren.
Besides spending time with family, I have many things I love to do. Design and homemaking is on the top of things that bring me joy. But the most grounding activity for me is gardening. Digging in the dirt, and nurturing the plants that will nurture me, puts everything into perspective.
For fun and relaxation, John and I love to travel North America in our Airstream. All of the national parks are on our bucket list. It is a bold goal, but we are making a good dent in it.
You can learn more about my background and experience on the start here page.
